Whistler/Squamish Area Lakes: Squamish lakes are warming up and Whistler lakes are fishing well. Try searching patterns such as leeches and wooly buggers in black. Size #8.

Rivers: The Squamish system is in full freshet and will be unfishable until the pinks arrive in late July and even early August. The Mamquam and Cheakamus are also high and difficult to fish properly. Nymphing or streamer fishing is the way to go at this time of year. Birkenhead is high and swift.   ]]>
